A day by the river

Yesterday was a lovely day, so the kids and I ventured down to the river. Actually, it's a lake that comes off the Missouri River. We had fun walking along the bank looking for critters. The kids collected water and seaweed of some sort in jars. We also walked along a trail and found lots of deer tracks!!
