Well, Mackenzie decided she wanted to try tennis so we signed her up for the Bismarck Parks & Rec program. Today was her first lesson and once she warmed up she had fun. They did a little hitting today while doing some fun drills/games.
After her practice, we went over to Target and bought a racket and some balls so she can continue to hit the ball and get a good feel for it. Next Tuesday they will take pictures in their tennis t-shirts and practice, and then on Thursday they are suppose to have matches. Really not sure how this whole thing will work, but according to the brochure they’ll practice one day and then they’ll have matches the other day. It should be interesting and hopefully very fun for her!!!
