Grandma was in a baking mood – she made banana cookies and chocolate crinkle cookies.
Mackenzie loves helping out in the kitchen!! So after she helped put cookie dough on the tray for baking, Grandma showed her how to make the icing for the banana cookies.
She decided she needed eye protection to keep the powder sugar out of her eyes . . .
BTW, Grandma was canning tomatoes too at the same time – such a busy woman!!
After the cookies cooled, Mackenzie got to ice them. They were very tasty!!
I am so glad she’ll have these memories of helping her grandmother in the kitchen.
