Well, Jay left two weeks almost three weeks ago and it is hard to believe it has only been that long because it seems like it has been much much longer!! I guess because we have been so B-U-S-Y with this and that it seems hard to believe we have done all we have done in only such a short time frame.
The evening Jay flew out, the kids & I took Jay’s parents to a Columbus Clippers game, which seemed kind of fitting considering we were at a game early in their season and this was the tail end of their season, plus it was a HUGE distraction to Jay’s departure.
It was a spontaneous night because it wasn’t a game originally scheduled because their season ended the week or so before. But it was a post season game being played because of their victories of a few other post season games.
It was a nice evening. Not too hot and not too cold. The best part too was it was ‘Dime a Dog’ night. So we ate pretty cheap – until the kids guilted me into buying Donato’s pizzas, but they shared so we were all happy!
Nice job Clippers! They went on to finish the season winning the Governor’s Cup and the Triple-A National Championship!!

We've missed going to Clipper games. We haven't been since they moved to the new stadium and changed all the seating rules :( Dime-a-dog was our favorite nights!
It was great to get to spend some time with you guys last Friday! We need to do that again soon!
