It's COOKIE time

Mackenzie is somewhat shy, especially when she doesn't know you. We've always said she's a little introverted. Well, last year was her first year able to sell Girl Scout cookies as a Brownie. We told her she could see if her aunts, uncles, and grandparents wanted to buy any. We obviously didn't anticipate her eagerness to go out and sell to complete strangers. She did an awesome job and it's that time of the year again. The poor thing was sick the first couple days she could go out and sell, and we haven't had the most ideal weather to go door to door in; however, with her persistence to reach her goal, her dad and big sis have ventured out with her several times. She's halfway to her goal and she still has twelve days to sell before her initial order has to be turned in.
Mackenzie eagerly gets to the door and rings the doorbell and then she gives her little spill. She learned from her big sis, who sold over 700 boxes her last year as a Junior Girl Scout, to ask how many boxes they'd like to buy instead of "would they like to buy any."
She is so excited about what she is doing and we are very proud of her!!
