We had so many opportunities to get out and enjoy the fresh air, the sunshine, and time with friends from co-op while we were in Ohio. The kids love going to the park and playing on the swings, but then they love hiking around on the trails.
Many of the kids’ friends were coming to the park for an educational opportunity offered by one of the many teachers from our much loved and much missed co-op. Before we met with our lunch date the kids enjoyed some time on the swings . . .
Well, we were able to hang out with the Millers while, Kyle was immersed in learning about the great outdoors. First, we ate lunch under the shelter and then we took on the trail for an hour. What were we thinking?? LOL Actually, the walk, company and conversation were very enjoyable.
One of the amazing things on the hike/walk was the wild life we were able to observe. We had actually stopped on the bridge to talk with another walker about the direction of the path when Zack drew our attention to the deer standing on the creek bank and the two deer in the wooded area. It was amazing how close we were to them!
We had a great time!!
